"Don't become a mere recorder of facts, but try to penetrate the mystery of their origin"
Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
Ever since I was a child I knew I wanted to help people using my creative talents and the gift of conversation so I became an Art Therapist, and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Together, we'll work to achieve your counseling goals.
Learn About My Methods
My mission is to provide culturally diverse psychotherapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families. I believe "Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where to start" (Nido Qubein). As a Marriage and Family Therapist and Art Therapist it is heartfelt to be able to offer clients options - verbal psychotherapy and/or art therapy.
Therapeutic Strategies Include: Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Therapy.
Employee Assistance Plans (EAP) Brief Psychotherapy
Grief and Bereavement
Stress and Trauma
Art Therapists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives. Art therapy is a unique modality that clients use to express emotions. In art therapy sessions clients produce expressive artworks by drawing, painting, and the use of other artistic media which accommodates both language and the images of their experiences. This integrative process provides the tools necessary to develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide clients with effective tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty.
